Designer Favorites: Candy Apple Red Bombe Chest

Bassett Bombe Chest
I tell you what, this little piece of furniture is enough to make me want to redecorate to figure out how to somehow get red into my house!!!  The combination of the feminine styling, demi-luned front, and that fabulous color–it’s enough to make this designer covet.  Wouldn’t this be a fun one to turn into a vanity in your guest or powder bath?  I can think of a vessel sink or two that would look right at home on top.

Casual Dining THAT WILL SEAT AT LEAST 8!

Check out the Plank Table.  It extends from 80″ to 116″ with two 18″ leaves.  The brilliant function of this diversified piece is that it is transitional!  The Plank accommodates everyday use but also is unique in the sense everyone can sit together during holiday feasts.  It’s subtle distressed characteristics eliminates the worries of scratching or damaging your new dining table.  It is made to be used.  Doesn’t this encompass what the holidays are all about – furniture with all the function and without any of the worries.  Not to mention the fashion … Crafted & Distressed.

Take this table and incorporate it into your style: rustic/industrial/lodge/cottage /casual or country.  You define it by what surrounds it!

We’ve paired the Plank with our generously proportioned Goddess Chandeliers, bar stools, a hand-crafted Acacia Wood bench, and glass decanters.  This piece is without boundaries & best of all, you cannot beat the price considering the size and quality.

What We Love Now!!!

Larger Than Life
Eclectic:
·      Selecting or choosing from various sources
·      Made up of what is selected from different sources
Our Larger Than Life vignette is a group that mixes different wood species & shades, feminine accessories, & a masculine bed with a very simple yet striking comforter set. Pulling from different inspirations, when paired together defines a magical place.
Two tips inspired by the Larger Than Life bedroom group:
1.     Mix & Match Woods!  When done right will result in a space all your own without being boxed into a cookie cutter “set”
2.     HEADBOARDS, HEADBOARDS, HEADBOARDS!!!  Please do not be a victim of what I would describe as a fashion disaster.  Unless you have a space relevant to a minimalist commitment, do not miss having such a defining focal point of your bedroom.  Today there are so many interesting types to choose from:
       Upholstered
       Raw Wood
       Exotic Wood
       Traditional Silhouettes
       Metals
       Gloss Veneer…
The list goes on and on …

Larger Than Life is a White Hot Ironwood bed with Moroccan inspired carved detailing.

Flower Power
Against the heavy Ironwood headboard (Ironwood – the wood that will not float) this accent lamp softens the edges.
Hi-Ho-Cheerio
Be playful… an accent piece makes your design space unique and all your own.
Fe, Fi, Faux,
            An understated beauty
The Long & The Short of It …
Naturally casual, this piece is Ash, another example of combining different wood tones.
How easily you can freshen up or change the style image of this pallet!  Choose a print scattered with images and color.  An area rug can grasp and project the genre you are presenting.
