Solar orientation of windows within a space determines the amount of natural light entering a room. The level of light control and privacy is dependent upon the fabrics and product features chosen. In general terms, sheerer fabrics offer less light control and privacy than opaque fabrics.

Color can be used in different ways to help achieve a design goal or concept. Adding contrast enhances visual stimulus, helps to heighten or lower a ceiling, and adds depth perception. Window size and shape have different limitations within each product, color, and lifting mechanism. At Eheart Interior Solutions, we have the tools to help you select the window treatment that best suit the size and shape of your windows.

Measure each window with a hard-edged ruler or tape. Measure horizontally at the top, center and bottom, and vertically along both sides. Then measure diagonally, too. If a window is not square, consider an outside mount with the treatment installed above the opening.
